Vaughan Emery

Vaughan Emery – CEO and President

Vaughan founded CENTRI in January 2009 with a vision to deliver technology that helps data networks perform smarter and more efficiently. As the CEO and president, Vaughan is responsible for the company vision, strategic direction, planning and execution. Throughout his career, Mr. Emery has developed key business relationships with mobile operators, phone manufacturers and technology partners within the US, Asia and Europe. Vaughan’s career spans more than 20 years in leadership roles of early stage companies. Before founding CENTRI, he founded Flytrap Security a mobile security technology company, which developed an advanced malware security solution for mobile phones and embedded devices.

 
Elon Boms

Elon Boms

Elon founded LaunchCapital in January 2008 to help entrepreneurs gain quick access to seed capital and mentorship. With a passion for working with industry disruptors and teams that have a strong business development focus, Elon has been involved in over 150 deals across a wide range of industries and geographies. His portfolio performance includes the sale of 20 companies since 2010 with an IRR that places LaunchCapital in the top 10% of venture funds worldwide. He holds an MBA from Yale School of Management and a BA in Economics from the George Washington University.

 
Merrill Dean

Merrill Dean

Merrill is one of the founders of CENTRI. He is a broad based international key executive, with vast experience encompassing a number of successful Internet advertising & technology startups, IPOs and Corp sales. His experience includes advertising, direct/database marketing, motion pictures, affinity Visa credit card financial services, publishing, TV & radio marketing, consumer products, international media group operations, plus a strong background for today's global Internet activities and technology applied to database and security applications business – like CENTRI in the US, Europe, LatAm, Asia, EMEA and Africa.

As Disney’s first MBA hire following Walt’s passing, Dean was selected by Disney’s Buena Vista Intl as Latin American Sales & Marketing Manager. He quickly moved up in Disney’s global management team and led the Worldwide Publishing division, launched Disney’s Global Direct Marketing strategy with major Publishing Licensees, and ultimately took over the Presidency of the Disney Record & Music Division. Post-Disney, Merrill has held senior leadership positions at Grupo Televisa SA, AdForce Inc. and dMarc Broadcasting Inc. (sold to Google).

 
Rob Strickland

Robert (Rob) Strickland

Rob serves on the boards of both CENTRI and Ocearch. He also serves on several Customer Advisory Boards throughout the industry (Sierra Ventures, Neustar, SAP - Independent Executive Advisory Board, Pitango, WeFi, Razorsight, Teradata, Pivotal, Convene and Clickfox). Rob is co-founder and investor of Digital Nexus, a next-generation management consulting & business solutions company that helps domestic and international organizations understand and harness the power of technology to propel their business and brand today and well into the future. Additionally, Rob provides services to several international companies as well as several large US-based brands.

Rob has co-founded two product start-ups that came to market in late 2014 – OurHive and Selfie 123. Most recently, Rob was the Chief Technical Officer of Leap Wireless/Cricket Communications, completing his tenure after the sale of the company was completed to AT&T on March 13, 2014. Rob served as Senior Vice President and CIO at T-Mobile USA from 2006-2010. He also served as CIO for Echostar/Dish network, Continental Cablevision and CTO for Landmark Communications (former owner of the Weather Channel). Early in his career he worked at Apple (5 years), Harvard Business School, Stratus Computers and Honeywell International. After the sale of Continental to US West, Strickland led several small VC backed start-ups in the mid-Atlantic states. Rob is a 1984 Mathematics graduate from Brandeis University. He resides in the north San Diego area with his family.

 
M. Wayne Wisehart

M. Wayne Wisehart

Wayne brings decades of experience in senior leadership positions from CFO to CEO in several high-tech or telecommunications companies including aQuantive, Western Wireless, iNNERHOST and Teledirect International Inc.. In addition to his Board position and chairman of the audit committee at CENTRI, Wayne also serves on the Board of Directors for a number of technology companies including EarthLink, a managed network, security and cloud solutions company and Marchex, Inc., a mobile technology and advertising company. Wayne also serves on the Advisory Board of Directors of BlackStratus, a SIEM solutions provider. Wayne has significant experience in risk management from his work as a public company chief financial officer and audit committee member.
